Update : 6th April 2020 10am

Dear Guests,

We have made the sad decision to postpone opening on the 27th March. The park will remain closed until the Friday 1st May and we will continually review the Government Guidelines.

Our staff and guests are imperative and we hope during this uncertain time that you are all well and keeping safe.

Please see the information below if you have a booking with us:

Direct Bookings

For those of you that have an upcoming holiday with us between now and the 1st May - the quickest and easiest way to amend your holiday is to email us : bookings@woolacombe-sands.co.uk. Please include the below details:

  • Booking Reference in the subject title of the email
  • What dates you would like to move your holiday to
  • Best contact number to contact you on should we need to

If you are undecided as to what date you would like to move your holiday to, please do not worry. If that date passes, we can sort this out at a later date. You will not be forgotten about. Just email us and let us know you will contact us in due course.

Bookings will be moved dates free of charge with no administration fee.

Please note we will only be currently dealing with upcoming breaks.

Newspaper Bookings

If you have a Newspaper break with us, we can look to change your dates, or request a refund from GFM (provider of the newspaper breaks). Please note; once a holiday date is moved we cannot refund your holiday as the contract is then passed from GFM to us, with commissions deducted etc.

  • Please email us on bookings@woolacombe-sands.co.uk with dates you wish to move to or;
  • Email us to confirm you would like to cancel your Newspaper break. We will then pass the relevant information onto GFM for a refund request.

Bookings will be moved dates free of charge with no administration fee.

Please note; date changes are subject to availability and extra costs if the holiday is moved to a higher price bracket date.

Groupon Bookings

If you have a Groupon break with us, we can look to change your dates, or a refund can be requested from Groupon. Please note; once a holiday date is moved we cannot refund your holiday as the contract is then passed from Groupon to us, with commissions deducted etc.

Please note; date changes are subject to availability and extra costs if the holiday is moved to a higher price bracket date.

  • For a Groupon refund, please email Groupon Customer support by clicking here.
THIS MUST BE COMPLETED 3 WORKING DAYS BEFORE YOUR HOLIDAY START DATE.

Bookings will be moved dates free of charge with no administration fee.

Season Extension

We have decided to change the end of season date from 2nd November and extend it until the 16th November to accommodate date changes and to make up for any time that our guest's and seasonal's will have lost not being able to attend their holiday while the park remains closed.

What if my holiday is after 1st May?

We understand there is a lot of uncertainty around the Covid-19 pandemic and please be assured we are following guidelines issued by the Government.

At present we hope to open on 1st May 2020; however, should this change, we will contact guests with a break during affected times, and your options will be similar to the above.

We politely ask that if your break is after 1st May, that you do not contact us, as we are dealing with a huge volume of emails from guests staying between 27th March & 1st May 2020. Thank you for your understanding.

Please know that we are only a small team (on reduced numbers due to Covid-19) and that you may not have a response straight away, however we promise to get to you as fast as we can, so please bear with us.

General Information

Stay at home to stop coronavirus spreading

Everyone must stay at home to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

You should only leave the house for 1 of 4 reasons:

  • shopping for basic necessities, for example food and medicine, which must be as infrequent as possible
  • one form of exercise a day, for example a run, walk, or cycle – alone or with members of your household
  • any medical need, or to provide care or to help a vulnerable person
  • travelling to and from work, but only where this absolutely cannot be done from home

Do not leave your home if you have coronavirus symptoms

Do not leave your home if you have either:

  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

To protect others, do not go to places like a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. Stay at home.

Use the 111 online coronavirus service to find out what to do.
